Cerberus Safety Systems, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Field Installation Technician to join our dynamic team. As a Field Installation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting our low -voltage systems at client locations. You will ensure that our systems are operational, meet the client's requirements, and are in compliance with industry standards.
<\/span><\/p>Key Responsibilities:<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- Install, configure, and test low voltage systems, including access control, video surveillance, fire alarms, intrusion detection, and other related systems at client sites.
<\/span><\/li>- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide accurate estimates for projects.
<\/span><\/li>- Collaborate with the project management team to plan and schedule installations, ensuring timely and efficient deployment of systems.
<\/span><\/li>- Perform on -site troubleshooting, diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance of installed systems to ensure optimal functionality and client satisfaction.
<\/span><\/li>- Train clients and end -users on the proper use and maintenance of low -voltage systems.
<\/span><\/li>- Document all installations, configurations, maintenance activities, and repairs accurately and thoroughly.
<\/span><\/li>- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on -site and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
<\/span><\/li>- Communicate effectively with clients, internal teams, and management to provide project updates, resolve issues, and ensure successful project outcomes.
<\/span><\/li>- Collaborate with other departments to provide technical expertise and support as needed.
<\/span><\/li>- Stay informed about the latest advancements in low -voltage systems and technologies.
<\/span><\/li><\/ul>Qualifications:<\/span><\/b>
<\/span><\/p>- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or course work in electronics, security systems, or a related field is preferred.
<\/span><\/li>- Previous experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of safety and security systems is highly desirable.
<\/span><\/li>- Strong technical aptitude and understanding of electronic systems, wiring, and network fundamentals.
<\/span><\/li>- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and blueprints.
<\/span><\/li>- Excellent problem -solving skills and attention to detail.
<\/span><\/li>- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
<\/span><\/li>- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
