HGV Technician – Bishops Cleeve

Salary: Up to £48,000 per annum
Hours: Monday–Friday, 07:00–16:30, and alternate Saturdays, 07:00–11:30.

We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join a fleet maintenance team based in Bishops Cleeve, with travel to the Bristol depot required when necessary.

The Role

• Service, maintain and repair HGVs and associated equipment.

• Diagnose faults across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

• Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance.

• Maintain accurate records and ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards.

Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds HGV Parts 1, 2 and 3, or equivalent.

• Current Category C (Class 2) HGV driving licence.

• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.

• Willingness to travel between depots when required.

• Comfortable working at height occasionally and meeting the strict 140kg weight limit for this requirement.
