Senior Commercial Vehicle Technician

An established franchised commercial dealership is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Vehicle Technician to join their service team. This role requires strong technical expertise, diagnostic ability, and leadership skills to deliver exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial vehicles to manufacturer standards.
• Perform advanced fault-finding using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Oversee and mentor junior technicians, ensuring quality workmanship.
• Conduct pre-delivery inspections, safety checks, and warranty-related work.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer, dealership, and safety regulations.
• Complete job cards, service reports, and related documentation accurately.
• Support workshop efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

• Qualified Motor/Diesel Technician with Red Seal certification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience working on commercial vehicles (franchised dealership experience advantageous).
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to supervise and guide a team of technicians.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Valid driver’s licence (Code 14 advantageous).
