If you're looking for a pure Azure Engineering role where you never have to speak to an end user, this probably isn't it.
But if you enjoy owning the Microsoft platform end-to-end, like solving problems, and want to help shape how an organisation uses Microsoft 365, Intune and automation, keep reading.
This is a broad, hands-on role where you'll split your time between Microsoft 365 administration, Intune and endpoint management, supporting users across head office and project sites, and gradually taking on more cloud, automation and platform engineering work as the environment matures.
The company has invested heavily in technology over the past 12 months. They're modernising their Microsoft environment, building out their security capability, and looking for engineers who are curious, enjoy improving the way things are done, and aren't afraid to automate repetitive work.
You'll work closely with the CIO in a small, collaborative team where your ideas will genuinely influence how the environment evolves.
This role would suit someone who's progressed beyond traditional desktop support and wants to continue moving towards Microsoft platform engineering without giving up the variety and ownership that comes from working in a smaller, high-performing team.
