This role will suit a senior developer who wants to be trusted to do their job well, work with good people, and have real input into how things are built. We’re looking for someone who brings personal drive, sound judgement, and a collaborative approach — someone comfortable taking ownership, making decisions, and helping others grow along the way.
You’ll be part of an agile delivery team focused on building and improving our software practices. You’ll work closely with the Product Owner and Tech Lead / Architect to help shape solutions and support the growth of others in the team.
What you’ll be doing
- Design, build and support software across the full stack
- Work within an agile team delivering high-value outcomes
- Help lead ongoing development of a key strategic piece of software
- Support future software initiatives across Profile Group
- Work closely with the Tech Lead and Product Owner to understand priorities and shape solutions
- Partner with the Tech Lead on design and technical direction
- Make pragmatic technical decisions and take ownership of delivery
- Coach and mentor other developers
- Help improve engineering practices, team capability and ways of working
What you’ll bring
- Strong experience as a senior full stack developer in a modern delivery environment
- Experience and expertise in TypeScript, React, C# / .NET Core, Graph QL and Azure
- Experience developing, deploying and supporting solutions in Azure and familiarity with Redis and Open Telemetry is desirable.
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices and application architecture
- Experience working in agile teams
- The judgement and confidence to make decisions and move work forward
- A constructive, collaborative approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with both technical and non-technical people
- A desire to be part of a team focussed on software delivery excellence
